Miludagi plants grow at the bottom of cold areas of the ocean, and are notable for their herring like taste.
Description
Miludagi plants prefer the cold water, and grow starting from a greenish leafy base. Once the plant matures, the leaves become bigger and so do the "tongues" coming out of the base. Each tongue can be plucked individually, and tastes just like herring. Meanwhile, the leaves taste like bitter herbs.
Uses
The whole plant is used for food. The tongues are a very common herring substitute, while the leaves are either dried and grinded for spices, or used as garnish. The tongues are often pickled, but can be eaten raw, or cooked. Miludagi Sushi is a common dish using the tongues.
