Tunlis flowers grow on cold ocean depths, and are notable for their tuna tasting petals.
Description
Tunlis flowers grow in cold oceans, and bloom on a green stem with leaves. Once fully grown, the plant has multiple "petals" that form a flower, starting with dark red outer petals and going to a lighter pink in the center. The outer petals have a taste just like tuna, while the more inner petals taste closer and closer to fatty tuna. The stem and leaves taste kind of like spicy peppers and brocoli combined.
Uses
The whole flower is used for food. The stem and leaves are often grinded up (or leaves used as garnish) into a spice, while the petals are very often used as tuna substitutes. The variety in the fattiness of the petals provides a good range for tuna like sushi to be prepared.
